Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Saxon Delafield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian King! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delafield misses with a body kick. King closes the distance and clinches. Delafield wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Delafield can't break the clinch.
King breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A head kick misses from Delafield. A head kick by Delafield misses and King counters into the clinch. Nicely done. King breaks from the clinch.
King has taken the fight to the clinch.

King clinches up against the ropes. King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! King gets a clinch. King breaks from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! King instigates a clinch. Delafield tries to circle away but King has him pinned against the ropes. King breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. King misses with a few strikes there.
Delafield wants to clinch. Delafield is looking to clinch but King is avoiding it.

Saxon Delafield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Delafield pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! King moves into the clinch successfully.

Brian King dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
King darts in and clinches Delafield up against the ropes. King manages to break the clinch.
King uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Delafield. Brian King seems to be getting the better of the standup. A punch combination from King misses. Delafield tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. King blocks a head kick by Delafield.
Delafield throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Delafield throws a sloppy head kick and King moves out of range easily. King takes the fight into the clinch. Delafield working aggressively here.
King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Delafield tries a head kick but it misses.
King moves into the clinch successfully.
Delafield doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A head punch on the inside from Delafield fails to land. King manages to break the clinch.
Delafield throws a body kick that misses. King catches Delafield napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Delafield crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! King raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
