The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armando looks to clinch
and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Armando is retaining full guard.
Armando wants to control but Jones passes easily into half guard.
Armando really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Armando is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Armando is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
