Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dillon Raymond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaka Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zulu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: wild boys. Shaka Zulu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dillon Raymond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shaka Zulu! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zulu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Raymond's half guard. Zulu stops Raymond from getting back to his feet.
Zulu is looking for a kimura but Raymond is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Zulu to get the leverage. Zulu controlling the action here. Raymond is trying to stand back up but Zulu is controlling him
Raymond really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Zulu is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Shaka Zulu was stalling too much, according to the referee. Raymond circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zulu tries for a takedown but Raymond sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Zulu gets tackled into the cage by Raymond. Raymond maintains the clinch. Raymond pulls guard successfully.
Raymond can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Zulu controls the pace. Raymond is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Zulu stands and throws Raymond's legs to the side, diving into side control. Raymond tries to improve position but can't. Zulu cracks Raymond with a big right hand but Raymond just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Zulu tries to move into full mount but can't pass Raymond's legs. Raymond seems a little lost for a moment, as Zulu dominates the positioning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zulu working away. Zulu tries to stand but Raymond is controlling his head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Zulu takes a little break here. Raymond wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Shaka Zulu hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Zulu tries to clinch there but Raymond circles away.
Zulu tries for a takedown but Raymond circles away easily and Raymond counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zulu struggling a bit here. Raymond tries for a kimura but Zulu is defending well. Zulu can't do much from the bottom here. Zulu gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Zulu actively working from the bottom here. Zulu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Raymond is working away from the top position though. Raymond is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Zulu makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Zulu. Raymond has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raymond wants to control from the top but Zulu keeps moving. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Zulu trying to control the position here. Zulu had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Raymond defends it easily. Zulu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zulu looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zulu looking for a triangle here. Raymond is fighting it but it looks tight! Zulu pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Raymond is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Shaka Zulu! A less than humble Shaka Zulu misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
