Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Delmar Petty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Than Asos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asos has chosen Spartan Grunt as his entrance music. Than Asos will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asos throws a big shot that misses.
Asos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Asos throws the left hand but Petty avoids the punch easily.
Asos lands a nice shot to the body.
Asos clobbers Petty with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Delmar Petty has been cut.
Petty shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Asos's guard.
Petty cracks Asos with a solid left hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Petty is in close to Asos's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Asos looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Petty works over Asos with some ground and pound from guard.
Petty with a nice head shot there.
Petty keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Asos's head.
Petty stands and steps away. Asos gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Than Asos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petty closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Petty has hold of Asos's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Asos seems comfortable defending it but Petty has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Asos is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Asos is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Petty couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Delmar Petty!
