Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giant Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Giant Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King pushes Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
King with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
King tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Silva blocks an uppercut.

King jumps guard and drags Silva to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Silva wants to stand but King is controlling his posture from full guard.

King escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
King wants to sweep but no luck.

King looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Silva has picked King up and slammed him! King can't keep hold of the triangle and Silva manages to pass to side control!

King is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
King looking for a sweep but Silva has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Silva prevents King from getting the reversal.
King is squirming around, avoiding Silva's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King tries to lock up and control but Silva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
King is working to get back to half guard.
Silva looking to control but King is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
King is in all sorts of trouble here.
Silva wants to control the pace but King is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silva avoids the attempt from King to control.
King is looking to improve his position but Silva isn't that keen on the idea.
King tries to lock up and control but Silva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
King is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Silva controlling from mount.
Silva prevents King from getting the reversal.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Levi King will probably get the nod.
That's time! Silva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Silva takes a swing at King's ribcage but misses.

King closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard.
Silva is looking to stand up but King isn't so interested in that idea.
Silva has momentary wrist control but King slips an elbow through the middle.
Kingis looking to pass into half guard but Silva pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Silva is in guard.

King throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

King working for a triangle but Silva defends it easily.
King trying to keep a closed guard but Silva is proving a slippery customer.

Silva wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.

Silva stands and steps away. King gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
King tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it.
Horrible takedown by King or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.
King shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva throws out a loose jab but King uses good head movement to avoid it.
Levi King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Silva keeps the fight on the outside.
A slow jab from Silva misses its intended target.
King changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but King manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Giant Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Levi King.
King tries to clinch there but Silva circles away.
King has a takedown stuffed.
King walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Levi King has been cut.
King is breathing heavily.
Silva lands with a shot to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Silva. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silva.
A telegraphed right hand from Silva misses the target.
Silva cracks King with a big right hand and King goes down!

King is rocked!
Silva wants to stand but King has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
King is striking off his back. Silva thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

King is looking to improve his position.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Silva here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Silva is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
King has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silva is working away from the top position though.

King actively working from the bottom here.
Silva is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
King tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Silva catches King with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Silva gets caught flat footed, as King shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
King trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
King wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Silva working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from King.
King throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

King has gone for a leg lock! Silva slips out almost immediately though and dives into King's guard.

King working for submissions but it's allowed Silva to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Levi King's cut.
That's time! Silva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

King displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silva throws out the jab.
King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
King tries to clinch there but Silva circles away.

King feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, King changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

King postures up in Silva's guard and throws a big left but Silva blocks it.

King takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Silva wants to stand but King is controlling the position.
King trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Silva wants to stand and escape but King is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

King has managed to clinch.

King jumps guard.

King looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

King has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.

King had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. King Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silva's back instead.
King wants to control the position but Silva frees himself and scrambles - King manages to regain control in side control.

Silva bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
King looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but King persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.

King changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

King is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Silva has escaped the position, nice work there.

King working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Silva throws King to one side and escapes!
Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
King closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. King pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
King is looking to clinch.
King moves away from the strike by Silva.
Silva ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silva connects with the punch.
Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
King walks into a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Silva throws a hook but King blocks it.
