Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silas Asket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Ivanov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Silas Asket!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Ivanov!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asket displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ivanov throws out the jab.
Ivanov throws a right and a left that Asket avoids nicely.
Asket tries to clinch but Ivanov moves away
and Ivanov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Asket takes one on the button.
Asket takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Asket misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ivanov works the jab nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sloppy strikes from Ivanov. Those never looked like landing.
Asket misses the shot to the body.
Asket shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ivanov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ivanov swinging wildly here.
Ivanov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ivanov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ivanov scores with a one two! Asket had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Asket tries to clinch there but Ivanov circles away.
Asket on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ivanov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Asket.
Asket really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ivanov lands a left and a right that send Asket crashing to the mat, dazed. Ivanov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Asket is rocked!
It looks like Silas Asket has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ivanov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Asket counters with a big head kick but Ivanov shrugs it off.
Oh Asket is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Asket tries for a takedown but Ivanov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silas Asket. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Some wild striking there from Ivanov.
Asket seems to have got his legs back now.
Asket shoots for a double leg takedown but Ivanov sprawls well. He's pushed Asket's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Asket is breathing heavily.
Ivanov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Asket tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ivanov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ivanov scores with a jab to the jaw.
Ivanov getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Asket takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ivanov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Asket had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Asket tries for a takedown but Ivanov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ivanov sizes up Asket with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ivanov cracks Asket with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Asket looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ivanov finish him?
Ivanov drops Asket with a huge uppercut! Asket drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Ivanov is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Ivanov!
