The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lachida throws a nice looking combination but Kelly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lachida looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lachida lands a glancing blow to the side of Kelly's head.
Mike Lachida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lachida buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A nice combination there by Lachida.
Kelly takes a kick to the side of the head.
Kelly steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lachida. That one must have hurt.

Lachida throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Lachida throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kelly.
Good leg kick by Lachida there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Lachida moves in looking to clinch but Kelly pushes him off.
Lachida throws a sloppy head kick and Kelly moves out of range easily.
Lachida plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Kelly blocks a head kick by Lachida.
Lachida throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kelly stuffs the takedown attempt from Lachida. Lachida gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice body punch from Lachida.
Lachida wants to clinch up but Kelly keeps it at a distance.
Lachida tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kelly swivels and escapes.
Lachida lands a head kick!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lachida tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kelly uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lachida has time to react.

Lachida is rocked!

Kelly shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Kelly slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Kelly lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
