Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spanky forces Dolan back against the cage and clinches.
Dolan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Spanky drags the fight down to the ground.
Spanky looking for a sweep. Not yet Spanky, not yet.
Spanky is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Spanky wants to sweep here but Dolan controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spanky working for a triangle but Dolan defends it easily.
Dolan tries to stand but Spanky is controlling from the bottom.

Dolan is looking to stand up but Spanky won't let him.
Spanky wants to get back to his feet but Dolan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dolan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Spanky looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dolan passes into side control.
Spanky tries to improve position but can't.

Dolan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Horrible takedown by Spanky or perhaps it was just good defense by Dolan which made him look bad.
Spanky takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Dolan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dolan is looking to score with low kicks.
Dolan gets caught flat footed, as Spanky shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Spanky is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Spanky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dolan is keeping the position for now.

Spanky prevents Dolan from getting back to his feet.
Spanky wants to control from the top but Dolan keeps moving.
Spanky is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Dolan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Spanky on the ground.
Spanky stopping the sweep attempt from Dolan.
Spanky postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dolan fails to land with a series of punches.
Dolan tries to clinch but Spanky is having none of it.
Dolan darts in trying to clinch
and Spanky counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dolan is on top in guard.
Dolan trying to control but Spanky is working from the bottom.
Spanky wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spanky trying to keep a closed guard but Dolan is proving a slippery customer.
Spanky pulls Dolan in close to prevent any damage.

Dolan is sitting in close to Spanky's body. Spanky has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dolan is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dolan is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Spanky.
