Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Minicucci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyo Kusanagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyo Kusanagi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kusanagi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kusanagi throws a head kick that misses.
Kusanagi avoids the head kick by Minicucci.
A head kick lands from Kusanagi that sends Minicucci to the canvas. Minicucci tries to scramble back to his feet but Kusanagi brings him back down into side control.
Minicucci is rocked!
It looks like Joseph Minicucci has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kusanagi wants to stand but Minicucci is controlling his arm.
Oh Minicucci is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Minicucci seems to have got his legs back now.

Kusanagi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kusanagi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Minicucci.
Kusanagi throws a sloppy head kick and Minicucci moves out of range easily.
Kusanagi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kyo Kusanagi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Minicucci tries to clinch there but Kusanagi circles away.
Minicucci closes the distance and clinches up with Kusanagi, looking for a takedown. Minicucci pushes Kusanagi against the cage but Kusanagi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Minicucci throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kusanagi's waist but Kusanagi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Minicucci off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joseph Minicucci. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kusanagi tries a head kick but it misses.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Minicucci. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Kusanagi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Minicucci blocks a head kick by Kusanagi.
Minicucci dives in and grabs Kusanagi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kusanagi pushes down on Minicucci's head and hops out.

Minicucci is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kusanagi throws a head kick that misses.

Minicucci closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kusanagi pushes Minicucci off but Minicucci dives into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kusanagi tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Minicucci is working for a rear naked choke. Kusanagi is not defending it well and Minicucci has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Kusanagi refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Kusanagi's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
