Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Langley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Franko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Franko pinned against the cage. Franko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Frank Franko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Franko gets in close and instigates a clinch. Franko successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Franko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Langley! Langley keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Franko controlling the pace for now. Franko is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Langley has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Franko seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Langley is holding on tight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Franko trying to control but he's not successful this time. Franko controlling from mount. Langley is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Franko can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Langley is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Franko goes for an armbar but Langley turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Langley. Langley won't allow Franko to sweep him here. Franko looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Langley passes into side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Franko is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Franko dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Franko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Langley has his foot on Franko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Franko works his way back into a safe position though. Franko is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Franko throws a big right hand that misses. Franko passes easily into side control. Nice work. Franko tries to advance to mount but can't. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Franko stands up and beckons Langley to his feet. Langley could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Langley stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Franko. Langley with a lazy takedown attempt and Franko counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Franko. Franko lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Langley is working an open guard so Franko takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Langley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Franko decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Langley's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Franko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Franko throws and elbow that misses. Langley uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Franko's guard. Nice move by Langley! Langley wants to pass the guard but Franko is keeping the position. Franko trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Langley with a nice head shot there. Franko throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Franko uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Franko closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Langley tries to bench press Franko off him but Franko keeps the position. Franko decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Franko fails with an attempt to clinch.
Langley throws and low kick but Franko moves out of range easily. Langley misses with a takedown and Franko counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Langley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Franko wants to work for an arm triangle but Langley is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Frank Franko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Franko takes a shot right to the bread basket. Franko has taken the fight to the clinch.
Langley is fighting off a takedown attempt but Franko is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Langley to the mat. Langley regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Franko wants to control from the top but Langley keeps moving. Langley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Langley looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Frank Franko has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Franko drops back looking for a leg! Langley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Langley manages to kick Franko off! Franko jumps back into Langley's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Franko trying to control the position from guard on top but Langley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Franko drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Langley dives on top into guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Franko trying to control from Langley's half guard. Langley has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Franko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Franko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
