Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrzej Rostowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rostowski's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, VITER - Marichka. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrzej Rostowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tommy Ward! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ward tries to clinch up. Rostowski swats away the attempt to clinch by Ward. Horrible takedown by Ward or perhaps it was just good defense by Rostowski which made him look bad. Ward tries to clinch up. Ward closes the distance and pushes Rostowski back into the cage. Ward is pressed up against the cage. Rostowski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ward down to the mat. Ward avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Ward tries to clinch and Rostowski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Rostowski postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ward is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rostowski, into his guard. Rostowski tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rostowski is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rostowski keeping moving, preventing Ward from controlling successfully. Ward trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rostowski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rostowski looking to control.
Rostowski wants to hit a switch here but Ward passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Rostowski there! Ward is landing with some decent strikes but Rostowski is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Rostowski is in a horrible position here. Ward smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rostowski wants to hold on but Ward pushes him away. Ward can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rostowski is looking to escape. Rostowski is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Rostowski is looking to get to half guard. Rostowski gets back to half guard. Rostowski trying to control but Ward postures up.
Rostowski is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rostowski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ward is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Rostowski tries to roll over but Ward keeps him under control. Rostowski wants to control but Ward is keeping busy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
We're going to have a standup here because Andrzej Rostowski wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Ward throws a combination that misses and Rostowski counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rostowski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrzej Rostowski dominated that round. That's time! Rostowski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ward throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ward looks for a takedown but Rostowski sprawls well. Rostowski circles away from the clinch attempt and Rostowski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ward really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rostowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rostowski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ward looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ward looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ward! Rostowski tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ward working away. Rostowski gets back to half guard. Rostowski is looking to improve his position.
Rostowski moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Ward's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ward is looking to stand up but Rostowski won't let him. Rostowski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ward! Rostowski is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ward can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Rostowski goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ward is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rostowski looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ward puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Rostowski wants to improve his position but Ward is controlling well.
Rostowski looking for submissions off his back. Rostowski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rostowski trying to get back to full guard but Ward takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Rostowski is looking to improve his position but Ward isn't that keen on the idea. Ward tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rostowski is looking to get to half guard. Andrzej Rostowski dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Rostowski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ward but Ward pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tommy Ward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ward thows a leg kick but Rostowski checks it so Rostowski counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Our spies down at at Academia Ipanema inform us that Ward has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Ward is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Rostowski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ward dives on top into guard. Ward would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Rostowski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ward is one step ahead there. Rostowski being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ward decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ward stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ward wants it to stay on the feet. Ward lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ward wants to clinch. Ward darts in trying to clinch and Rostowski counters with a shoot takedown. Ward fights it but they end up in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rostowski has gone for a leg lock! Ward slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rostowski's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rostowski looking for a guillotine here but Ward defends easily.
Rostowski keeping moving, preventing Ward from controlling successfully. Rostowski seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Rostowski throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ward escapes and throws Rostowski's legs to the side, diving into side control! Ward has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ward lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rostowski tries to keep at a distance but Ward has taken the fight into the clinch. Ward with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Rostowski is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ward is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrzej Rostowski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ward putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Rostowski in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ward decides to pull guard. Rostowski drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ward manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rostowski has Ward in his guard. Ward would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rostowski managing to control the position. Rostowski tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tommy Ward has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Andrzej Rostowski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rostowski is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Tommy Ward comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rostowski has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
