The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith clobbers Spong with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Smith tries to clinch there but Spong circles away.
Spong definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

It looks like Tyrone Spong has been cut.
Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Spong sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Smith throws a right hand that misses
and Spong counters with a three punch combo that has Smith backing up. Smith nods at Spong to acknowledge the strikes.
Smith throws a right and a left that Spong avoids nicely.
Spong tries to clinch but Smith moves away
and Smith counters by clinching up.

Smith lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Spong backwards.
With the fighters up against the cage, Spong throws an elbow but misses.
