Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dion Devlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandr Loshkarev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dion Devlin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexandr Loshkarev! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loshkarev shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Devlin counters with a one-two to the body. Loshkarev gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Devlin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Loshkarev thinking. Loshkarev fails with the takedown and Devlin counters with a stiff right hand. Dion Devlin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexandr Loshkarev. Loshkarev just misses with a punch to the body.
Loshkarev darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Loshkarev seems to be working for a kimura but Devlin defends the submission attempt. Devlin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Devlin controlling Loshkarev's posture.

Loshkarev drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Devlin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Loshkarev has Devlin in his guard. Devlin is looking to take a break and control but Loshkarev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Loshkarev looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Devlin is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Still in half guard, Devlin seems content to control. Loshkarev is refusing to be controlled, as Devlin sits in half guard. Loshkarev is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Devlin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Devlin's back! This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Devlin tries to escape but Loshkarev has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Loshkarev is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Loshkarev with a poor takedown and Devlin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Loshkarev tries to score a power double leg takedown but Devlin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Loshkarev somewhat. Loshkarev misses with a takedown and Devlin counters with a nice body shot. Dion Devlin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Loshkarev wants to take the fight to the mat but Devlin manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Devlin digs a right hand into Loshkarev's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Loshkarev's gas tank. Devlin cracks Loshkarev with a nice body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Devlin works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Devlin is pushing Loshkarev up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Devlin seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Devlin lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Loshkarev is breathing heavily. A shot in the inside from Devlin. Devlin looking to throw knees to the head but Loshkarev is blocking nicely.

Devlin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Devlin lands a shot to the body. Devlin lands with a light punch inside. I was talking to Devlin's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Devlin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Loshkarev dodges an elbow strike from Devlin.

Loshkarev is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Devlin weaves into range and cracks Loshkarev right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Loshkarev goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Devlin is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dion Devlin! A less than humble Dion Devlin misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
