The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson looks to score with a jab to the body but Oakheart is just out of range.

Wilson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Oakheart.

Wilson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oakheart manages to avoid it.

Wilson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oakheart is fending him off so far but Wilson persists. Nope, Oakheart circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oakheart tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wilson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice straight punches there by Oakheart. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Oakheart.

Oakheart lands a big right hand that sends Wilson crashing to the mat! Oakheart stays standing though and waves Wilson back to his feet!

Wilson is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oakheart fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wilson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Oh Wilson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Oakheart turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Buck Oakheart is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Oakheart throws a leg kick which misses Wilson's front leg but catches the back leg as Wilson tries to avoid it.

Wilson is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Oakheart lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Wilson up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Oakheart from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Wilson's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
