Casey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Casey tries to clinch but Wood moves out of range.
Wood tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Casey swivels and escapes.
A thudding body kick lands there by Wood!
Wood shoots in and drives through. Casey sprawls well.
Casey moves into range and clinches up with Wood.

Still in half guard, Wood seems content to control.
Casey is trying to maintain the position but Wood is very close to passing his half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Casey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Casey wants to get back to his feet.
Casey has one foot on Wood's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Casey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Casey lands in his opponent's guard.
Casey stands up and waves to Wood to follow him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Giuseppe Casey will probably get the nod.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wood controls the action.
Casey has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wood has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Wood controlling well, preventing Casey from escaping the position.
Casey controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Casey wants to get back to his feet.
Casey can't escape the position.

Dave Wood showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Wood counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Casey is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Wood dives into side control.
Casey is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wood's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Casey tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Casey rolls, trying to escape but Wood keeps control of the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Casey turns into Wood and is now in his guard.
Casey wants to control from the top but Wood keeps moving.
Casey throwing strikes but missing.
Wood managing to control the position.
Casey wants to stand and escape but instead Wood has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Giuseppe Casey.
I think Casey has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
