8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blake Elliet Junior Shnitkey ! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junior Shnitkey walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Copout bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Junior Shnitkey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Copout seems keen to control Junior Shnitkey 's posture. Copout avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Copout pulls Junior Shnitkey in to control the position. Junior Shnitkey trying to control but Copout is working from the bottom. Junior Shnitkey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Copout manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Blake Elliet Junior Shnitkey has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Nice defenses there by Copout. Junior Shnitkey pushing out the jab but it's not landing. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Junior Shnitkey has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Copout clobbers Junior Shnitkey with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Junior Shnitkey cracks Copout with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Donk. Junior Shnitkey catches Copout right on the button with a cross. Junior Shnitkey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Copout's guard. Junior Shnitkey seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Copout does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Junior Shnitkey prevents Copout from improving his position. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Junior Shnitkey . He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. The ref stands the fighters back up. Blake Elliet Junior Shnitkey was stalling too much, according to the referee. Copout will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
