Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Red Darglio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Kulakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darglio comes into the arena with The Black Keys "Funk #49" blaring out of the sound system. Kulakov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lube-Shparu. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darglio throws out a loose jab but Kulakov uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kulakov ducks straight into an uppercut from Darglio and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Kulakov manages to regain guard straight away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Darglio has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kulakov is proving hard to escape from.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Darglio with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kulakov to score with a decent uppercut.

Kulakov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Darglio throws an overhand right that lands on Kulakov's shoulder, as Kulakov tries to avoid the shot.

Kulakov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kulakov throws the left hand but Darglio avoids the punch easily.
Darglio cracks Kulakov with an uppercut from hell and Kulakov crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Darglio's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kulakov wants to stand up but Darglio is controlling him.
