Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kzarik Nahrul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaakko Kilpinen!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilpinen lands a jab.
Kilpinen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kilpinen has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Kilpinen looks to land a body kick but Nahrul moved away.
Kilpinen throws the left hand but Nahrul avoids the punch easily.
Nahrul tries to clinch
and Kilpinen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nahrul tries to clinch but Kilpinen is having none of it.
Kilpinen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nahrul tries to clinch up
and Kilpinen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kilpinen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nahrul keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kilpinen swats away the attempt to clinch by Nahrul.
Nahrul tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kilpinen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nahrul moves out of range of the body kick from Kilpinen.
Nahrul fails with an attempt to clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kilpinen.
Kilpinen wants to slow Nahrul down by chopping away at his legs.

Kilpinen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kilpinen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nahrul.
Nahrul takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kilpinen throws out a powerful jab.


It looks like Kzarik Nahrul has been cut.
Nahrul has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nahrul there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kilpinen tries to bum rush Nahrul with a series of wild strikes but Nahrul uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nahrul on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kilpinen. Kilpinen obviously looking to wear him down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kilpinen throws a leg kick which misses Nahrul's front leg but catches the back leg as Nahrul tries to avoid it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Nahrul throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Kilpinen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nahrul tries to close the distance and clinch but Kilpinen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Nahrul is looking to clinch but Kilpinen is avoiding it.
Nahrul darts in trying to clinch
and Kilpinen counters with a slapping leg kick.
Nahrul moves to clinch but Kilpinen breaks away
and Kilpinen counters with a low kick, right behind Nahrul 's knee.
Kilpinen lands with a hook. Nahrul tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kilpinen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Nahrul is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kilpinen.
Nahrul tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kilpinen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kilpinen landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Kilpinen trying to control the position but instead, Nahrul has worked for underhooks and has pushed Kilpinen into the cage.

Kilpinen will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Nahrul up against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kilpinen connects with a nasty looking knee right to Nahrul's face.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kilpinen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nahrul looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nahrul is rocked!
Kilpinen lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Kilpinen lands a good knee to the midsection. Nahrul won't want to take too many of those.
Nahrul is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kilpinen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kilpinen connects with a nasty looking knee right to Nahrul's face.
Oh Nahrul is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kilpinen creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Nahrul's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Nahrul drops to his knees and Kilpinen pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jaakko Kilpinen!
After winning the bout, Jaakko Kilpinen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
