Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Vonny misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thomas misses with a wild body shot.
Vonny throws a combination that misses
letting Thomas counter with a right hand.
Vonny avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vonny feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Thomas sprawling to the canvas! Thomas rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Vonny finish him?!
Thomas is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thomas takes a swing at Vonny's ribcage but misses.
Thomas looks to land a right hand but Vonny moved out of range.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Thomas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vonny looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've been hearing reports that Thomas has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Vonny drops Thomas with a straight right hand, right on the button! Vonny follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chad Vonny!
After winning the bout, Chad Vonny thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
