Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sherman Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Klaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randy Klaus will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sherman Mason! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Klaus! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klaus looks for a takedown but Mason sprawls well. Mason misses with a leg kick and Klaus counters with a solid body kick. Klaus will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Klaus is defended easily by Mason. Klaus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sherman Mason has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Klaus. Klaus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mason manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Klaus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mason counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Klaus's guard now. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Mason is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klaus is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mason stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Klaus swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mason stays in close to Klaus's body and controls the position. Klaus is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mason defends well. Mason is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Mason looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Mason scoring with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mason looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Mason stopping the sweep attempt from Klaus. Mason landing with the ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mason with a nice head shot there. Klaus can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mason controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason throws a big elbow that misses. Klaus is trying to keep Mason in close.
Mason controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sherman Mason has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Mason throws a hook but Klaus blocks it. Mason circles away from the clinch attempt.
Klaus misses with a takedown and Mason counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason working over Klaus with some ground and pound. Klaus looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Klaus is trying to maintain the position but Mason is very close to passing his half guard. Klaus looks like he's trying to stand up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mason performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Mason passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Klaus! Mason landing punches. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Klaus is in a horrible position here. Mason smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
It looks like Randy Klaus has been cut. Mason controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sherman Mason dominated that round. The cut man is working on Randy Klaus's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mason circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mason stuffs the takedown. Mason throws a nice looking combination but Klaus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Mason defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Klaus. Klaus shoots in but Mason avoids the takedown attempt easily. Sherman Mason has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Klaus. Klaus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mason.

That's one minute gone in the round. Klaus tries to clinch but Mason is having none of it. Mason avoids the body shot from Klaus.
Klaus misses with a takedown and Mason holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Mason tries to break free but Klaus pushes him back against the cage. Klaus fails to pull guard.
Klaus is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mason is keeping busy. Klaus tries to score a body lock takedown but Mason shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Klaus has Mason pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mason manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Klaus is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Klaus is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Klaus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Klaus manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Mason tries to break free but Klaus pushes him back against the cage. Mason tries to break the clinch but Klaus is controlling the position. Klaus has Mason pressed against the cage, preventing Mason from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Klaus tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mason smiles and moves away.
Klaus slips under a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Klaus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mason sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Klaus moves out of range as Mason strikes. Klaus is looking to clinch. Mason swinging wildly here.
Klaus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Klaus with a lazy takedown attempt and Mason counters with a takedown into side control. Mason in side control, just content to control the action for now. Mason decides to stand back up. Mason steps back and let's Klaus get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason misses with a few strikes there.
Klaus fails with the takedown. Klaus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sherman Mason is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mason showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Klaus.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Klaus looks to land a left hand but Mason moved out of range nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sherman Mason dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Randy Klaus's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Mason changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Klaus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Klaus is letting Mason control him for a moment. Mason works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Mason lands a decent elbow from side control. Mason landing strikes.
Klaus is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Klaus is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Mason lands a nice forearm strike. Klaus is still in real trouble! Can Mason finish him?
That has opened up Randy Klaus's cut even more. Mason in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Klaus looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Mason turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sherman Mason! An out of breath Sherman Mason thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
