Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Sharkhausen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logi Tech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tech shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sharkhausen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sharkhausen is trying to maintain the position but Tech is very close to passing his half guard.
Tech stops Sharkhausen from getting back to his feet.
Sharkhausen wants to improve his position but Tech is controlling well.
Tech uses his free foot to push down on Sharkhausen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sharkhausen.

Sharkhausen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tech on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Let's hope that Tech has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Sharkhausen has left one of his arms exposed and Tech doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Sharkhausen screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
