Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin's entrance music is You Fight Me by Breaking Benjamin. A fine choice. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Caleb Griffin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Moore! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Griffin controlling the pace. Griffin is thwarting Moore's attempts to control the position. Griffin keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Griffin prevents Moore from improving his position. Moore trying to control from the bottom.
Moore is looking for a sweep. Griffin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin stands up and beckons Moore to join him on the feet. Moore fails with an attempt to clinch.
Griffin shoots in and drives through. Moore sprawls well. Griffin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Moore's hands. Griffin tries to clinch but fails miserably and Moore counters with a takedown into side control. Moore moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Moore decides to stand back up. Moore steps back and let's Griffin get back to his feet. Griffin walks into a jab. Griffin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moore doesn't succeed with the takedown and Griffin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Moore misses with a hook from the clinch. Moore lands a knee to the body.
Griffin wants to get back to striking at distance but Moore won't allow it.
Moore tries to pull guard but Griffin holds him up against the cage and eventually Moore drops back down to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Moore wants to break free but Griffin has control.
Griffin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Griffin scores with a nice strike. Moore is looking to clinch. Griffin tries for a takedown but Moore circles away easily and Moore counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Griffin! Moore working Griffin over with strikes here. Moore controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Griffin prevents Moore from taking his back. Moore looks gassed! Moore tries to control but Griffin wriggling away. Griffin really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Moore looking to control but Griffin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Moore prevents Griffin from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Poor strikes thrown by Moore there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Griffin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Moore thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Griffin wants to control but Moore is having none of it. Moore throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Moore throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Moore dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Griffin throws a shot to the body.
Moore tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Griffin works over Moore's head and body with a nice combination. Moore has his takedown stuffed and Griffin counters with a nice uppercut. Moore has his takedown stuffed and Griffin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Moore thinking. Griffin throws a series of punches but Moore avoids them all with ease. Griffin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Moore counters with a shoot takedown. Griffin fights it but they end up in guard. Griffin controlling the position. Moore has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Moore stops Griffin from standing up. Griffin controlling Moore's posture. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moore trying to control but Griffin is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin has his feet on Moore's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Griffin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Moore. Moore takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Moore clinches but Griffin breaks the clinch enabling Griffin to counter with a crisp jab. Griffin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Griffin is looking to take a break and control but Moore is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moore can't do much from the bottom here. Jay Moore has got the better of the ground game so far. Moore is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Griffin is staying active. Griffin decides to take the fight back to the feet. Moore gets caught flat footed, as Griffin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Moore not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Griffin stands and steps away. Moore gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Moore slips a jab from Griffin. Griffin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Moore throws a left and a right that both miss
and Griffin counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Griffin. Griffin has had enough of the clinch but Moore keeps him there for the moment. Griffin gets underhooks to prevent Moore's takedown attempt.
Caleb Griffin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Moore. Moore manages to break the clinch.
Griffin moves out of range as Moore throws a body kick.
Griffin connects with a body shot. Caleb Griffin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Griffin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Moore can pounce on him.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Moore tries to land a sweep but no joy. Griffin controls from within his opponent's guard. Moore trying to keep a closed guard but Griffin is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Griffin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Griffin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Caleb Griffin dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Moore takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Moore looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Griffin moves out of range as Moore throws a body kick.
Griffin doesn't manage to clinch there - Moore circles away.
Griffin closes the distance looking to clinch and Moore counters into the clinch. Nicely done. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short right from Griffin on the inside. Moore breaks from the clinch.
Griffin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Griffin jabs Moore right on the nose. Moore blinks but takes it well. Moore looks for the body kick but Griffin saw that one coming. Moore takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Moore tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Griffin paws at him with a jab and circles away. Moore takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Griffin throws a nice looking combination but Moore bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Griffin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Griffin misses with a takedown attempt - Moore sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Moore scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The ground and pound from Moore seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Griffin can't do much from the bottom here. Moore slows the pace down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Griffin is trying to control Moore's posture but Moore avoids it. Griffin is trying to buck Moore off. Griffin manages to get back to half guard. Moore is looking to take a break and control but Griffin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore trying to pass the guard but Griffin defending well. Griffin trying to hold on to Moore's head to control him but Moore postures up.
Moore trying to control from Griffin's half guard. Griffin has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Griffin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Moore stands and steps away. Griffin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Griffin's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Griffin duly obliges. Moore has his takedown stuffed and Griffin counters with a series of strikes. Moore will be more careful next time no doubt. Moore tries to clinch up but Griffin circles away and keeps his distance. Moore gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Griffin counters with a left to the body. Griffin wants to clinch. Moore fails with the takedown and Griffin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Caleb Griffin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Moore. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Griffin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moore manages to avoid it. Moore shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Griffin counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Caleb Griffin. I think Griffin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
