Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Avivee Glazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Steamboat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson Steamboat is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Avivee Glazer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson Steamboat!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glazer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Glazer wants to clinch up but Steamboat keeps it at a distance.
Glazer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steamboat.
Steamboat tries for a takedown but Glazer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Avivee Glazer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Glazer as Steamboat shoots in.
Steamboat throws a nice looking combination but Glazer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Steamboat swats away the attempt to clinch by Glazer.
Steamboat lands a front kick.
Steamboat misses with a low kick.
Glazer wants to clinch up but Steamboat keeps it at a distance.
Steamboat tries a head kick but it misses.
Glazer throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Steamboat counters with a series of strikes that sends Glazer to the canvas! Steamboat follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steamboat is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Steamboat wants to pass the guard but Glazer is keeping the position.
Glazer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Steamboat's guard.

Steamboat is looking for a triangle but Glazer pushes his legs off easily.
Steamboat looks gassed!
Steamboat keeping moving, preventing Glazer from controlling successfully.
Glazer won't allow Steamboat to sweep him here.

Steamboat uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Glazer wants to clinch but Steamboat slips to the side

so Steamboat counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Steamboat wants to control from the top but Glazer keeps moving.
Glazer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Steamboat manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Steamboat has a closed guard, preventing Glazer from standing up.

Steamboat working for a triangle but Glazer defends it easily.
Glazer connects with a couple of short punches.
Glazer lands a couple of digs.
Glazer prevents Steamboat from getting back to his feet.
Glazer stands up over Steamboat, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Steamboat looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Glazer advances to half guard.

Steamboat looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Glazer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Steamboat with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Steamboat is looking for a sweep. Glazer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glazer scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Glazer lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Steamboat kicks off Glazer and gets to his feet.
Glazer lands with a nice combination. Steamboat backs away looking to recover.
Glazer tries to clinch up

and Steamboat counters with a takedown into side control.

Steamboat goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Glazer rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Steamboat's guard! Nice work there by Glazer!
Steamboat controls Glazer momentarily but Glazer frees himself.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Glazer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Steamboat's guard.

Glazer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Glazer scores with a three punch combo!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Steamboat scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyson Steamboat dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Steamboat has hold of Glazer's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Glazer seems comfortable defending it but Steamboat has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Glazer is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Glazer is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Steamboat couldn't care less - he's delighted!
