Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Okabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramazan Temel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okabe fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Okabe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Okabe looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kenji Okabe.
I think Temel has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
