21 - 32 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Amin Sax! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chong Starbowsky Ii gets caught flat footed, as Sax shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Chong Starbowsky Ii keeping full guard, as Sax tries to pass. Sax throwing strikes from guard but Chong Starbowsky Ii blocks nicely. Chong Starbowsky Ii knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sax on the ground. Sax controlling from the top position. Sax is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sax controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Let's hope that Sax has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Amin Sax dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chong Starbowsky Ii tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sax swats him away and circles back towards the center. Chong Starbowsky Ii tries to clinch up but Sax circles away and keeps his distance. Chong Starbowsky Ii throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Sax drives through with a takedown into guard. Chong Starbowsky Ii is trying to control the position but Sax postures up. Sax wants to control from the top but Chong Starbowsky Ii keeps moving. Chong Starbowsky Ii is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sax passes into half guard. Sax looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chong Starbowsky Ii with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sax maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Chong Starbowsky Ii could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Sax has cracked it and Chong Starbowsky Ii is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Sax!
