Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arek Rendziok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garlan Koba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rendziok comes to the cage accompanied by Sen. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arek Rendziok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Garlan Koba! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koba rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
so Rendziok counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Rendziok looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Koba wants to stand but Rendziok is controlling the position. Koba wants to sweep but no luck. Rendziok is looking to work some ground and pound but Koba has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koba working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rendziok. Rendziok with a nice head shot there. Rendziok postures up in Koba's guard and throws a big left but Koba blocks it. Koba really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rendziok. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rendziok throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koba looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rendziok postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rendziok content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rendziok trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rendziok accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rendziok is in close to Koba's body, working some short punches and elbows. Rendziok stands up over Koba, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rendziok postures up and lands a big shot to Koba's brow. Rendziok throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rendziok seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Koba utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Koba can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rendziok postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rendziok sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Koba's guard. Rendziok missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Rendziok will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rendziok has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Koba wants to hold on but Rendziok pushes him away. Rendziok lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rendziok sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Rendziok with shots to the head and body - Koba looks very uncomfortable down there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rendziok in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Rendziok lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Koba hang on? The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rendziok scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Rendziok shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Koba but Koba pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rendziok is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Koba can do to turn this around? Koba lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Jab from Koba.
It looks like Arek Rendziok has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Koba throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Koba looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Koba misses with a body shot.
Rendziok gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Koba connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Garlan Koba is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Rendziok has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rendziok is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rendziok's corner is telling him to maintain position. Rendziok lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Koba head around and knocks him out cold! Rendziok hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
