The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuznetsov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rupinen throws a nice outside leg kick.

Rupinen swings for the body but Kuznetsov moves out of range.
Kuznetsov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Rupinen dodges the punch combination from Kuznetsov.

Rupinen looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Rupinen jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rupinen is rocked!
Rupinen drops his hands for a split second and Kuznetsov immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Rupinen face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Kuznetsov follows up with a right hand that knocks Rupinen into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
