Page throws a combination. Shimizu tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Yuya Shimizu has been cut.
Page has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Original Nemesis Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Page jumps guard but Shimizu turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Shimizu lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Shimizu tries to throw a body punch but Page avoids it by throwing Shimizu back against the cage.
Page is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Shimizu ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Shimizu no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Page stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shimizu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Shimizu seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Page is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Yuya Shimizu decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
The defeated Dennis Page had this to say: 'Very disappointed to lose this. I got a confession that I ended up drinking all day yesterday and only having 2 hours sleep prior it the fight. REHAB AGAIN'.
