Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Acton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Acton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Acton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Norris! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norris doesn't manage to clinch there - Acton circles away.
Acton tries for a takedown but Norris sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Acton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Acton wants to work for an arm triangle but Norris is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Norris is staying active underneath Acton, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Norris is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Norris keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Acton is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Acton seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norris is looking to escape. Norris looks gassed! Acton is trying to work for a kimura but Norris is defending well.
Acton is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Acton is looking to take a break and control but Norris is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Acton is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Norris has managed to free his arm - good work. Acton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Norris defends it well. Acton stalling away here and it's allowed Norris to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Acton thows a big elbow that misses. Acton tries to free his leg and advance position but Norris is retaining full guard. Norris keeping moving, preventing Acton from controlling successfully. Acton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Acton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Acton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Norris works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Acton tries to free his leg and advance position but Norris is retaining full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Acton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Acton is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Norris has escaped the position, nice work there. Acton is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Norris has escaped the position, nice work there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Acton dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Norris stuffs the takedown attempt from Acton. Acton gets slowly back to his feet. Norris lands a head kick!
Acton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Norris as he avoids it easily. Norris gets caught flat footed, as Acton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Acton trying to control but Norris is working from the bottom. Acton is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Norris is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Norris is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Acton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Norris swivels though and keeps the full guard. Acton is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Norris keeping moving, preventing Acton from controlling successfully. Acton has gone for a leg lock! Norris slips out almost immediately though and dives into Acton's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Acton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Norris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Norris trying to stand up but can't free himself from Acton's guard. Norris stopping the sweep attempt from Acton.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Acton is on top in guard.
Acton slips nicely into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Acton seems to be working for a kimura but Norris defends the submission attempt. Acton works his foot free and advances to mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Acton trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Acton dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Acton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Norris swivels and escapes. Acton shoots in and drives through. Norris sprawls well. Norris misses with a few strikes there.
Norris throws a series of punches but Acton moves out of range. Norris moves in looking to clinch but Acton pushes him off. Norris doesn't manage to clinch there - Acton circles away.

Norris throws a sloppy head kick and Acton moves out of range easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Acton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Norris's guard. Acton trying to control the position from guard on top but Norris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Norris takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Acton passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Norris!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Acton has hold of Norris's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Norris manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Acton is landing with some decent strikes but Norris is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Acton is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Norris is forced to tap! Great finish!
