Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Rave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rave's entrance music is What Happened?. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gunnar Nelson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Nelson misses.
Nelson scores with a sloppy right hand. Rave should have avoided that one.
Rave misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rave takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
The fighters circle momentarily. Nelson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nelson blocks a head kick by Rave.
Nelson tries to clinch up.
Rave throws a half hearted mid kick.
Rave fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rave throws a head kick that misses.
Nelson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nelson there as he acknowledges the shot.
A combination from Nelson does no damage.
Nelson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nelson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nelson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nelson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Nelson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rave throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rave stalks Nelson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nelson's face. Nelson staggers backwards, shaken.
Nelson connects with a high kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Nelson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nelson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Rave is rocked!
Nelson throws a quick head kick that knocks Rave silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Nelson is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Gunnar Nelson!
A relieved looking Gunnar Nelson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
