Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alden West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alonzo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Trophies as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Alonzo Silva has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alden West's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Silva lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva is trying to work for a kimura but West is defending well.

West remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts West as he jumps to the side.
West really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. West avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Alden West has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alonzo Silva .

West seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with West for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Silva jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as West walks away with a smile on his face. Silva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

West has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Silva uses from the top position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for West, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
