The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klincko lands a high kick!
Klincko throws a series of punches but Puempel moves out of range.
Dave Klincko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puempel throws a hook but Klincko avoids it easily.
Klincko throws the kick towards the body but Puempel avoids it.
Klincko circles away from the clinch attempt.

Puempel shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Puempel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Klincko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Dave Klincko will probably get the nod.
That's time! Klincko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Puempel lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Puempel tries to clinch up but Klincko circles away and keeps his distance.
Klincko stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Puempel.
Klincko bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Puempel's head.
Klincko blocks a head kick by Puempel.
Puempel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Klincko moves away.
Puempel has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Klincko thows a body shot but no joy.
Puempel moves out of range of the strikes.
Puempel lands a nice leg kick that just misses Klincko's sensitive parts.
Puempel avoids the body shot from Klincko.
Puempel stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Klincko.
Puempel keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Puempel misses with a right hand
and Klincko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Puempel is rocked!

Klincko lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
