Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Spade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Latka Gravas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scott Spade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Latka Gravas!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Spade blocks the leg kick.
Gravas throws a body punch but Spade moves out of range.
Gravas throws a hook but Spade avoids it easily.
Spade scores with a head kick. Gravas tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Good leg kick by Gravas there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gravas lands a glancing blow to the side of Spade's head.
Spade moves out of range of the body kick.
Gravas misses with a straight left.
Gravas tries a head kick but it misses.

Spade has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Exiled BJJ and Wrestling in the buildup to the fight.

Spade uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gravas.

Gravas has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Horrible takedown attempt by Spade or perhaps it was just good defense by Gravas, which made it look bad.

Spade shoots in looking for a takedown. Gravas tries to sprawl out of it but Spade keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gravas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gravas lands a big head kick that sends Spade tumbling to the mat! Gravas takes a step backwards and waves Spade back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Scott Spade has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gravas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Spade has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Oh Spade is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spade walks straight into a right hand from Gravas - that's dropped him! Gravas jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Spade from any more punishment! Spade complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Latka Gravas!
