Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Harmo Heju (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toshiro Hitsugaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toshiro Hitsugaya will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Toshiro Hitsugaya!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heju cracks Hitsugaya with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Hitsugaya get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Hitsugaya looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!


It looks like Toshiro Hitsugaya has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hitsugaya throws a right and a left that Heju avoids nicely.
Heju misses with a hook

and Hitsugaya counters by moving into the clinch.

Heju escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Hitsugaya counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Harmo Heju has been cut.

Hitsugaya's coach down at The Pit was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hitsugaya's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Heju throws a jab but it's blocked by Hitsugaya.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Heju is trying to break the clinch but Hitsugaya has him pressed against the ropes.
Hitsugaya makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

and Hitsugaya counters with a three punch combo that has Heju backing up. Heju nods at Hitsugaya to acknowledge the strikes.

Hitsugaya rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Heju moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The referee is keeping an eye on Hitsugaya - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Well Hitsugaya has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
