Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Faulkner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bengt Bengtsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Eddie Faulkner has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Faulkner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bengt Bengtsson! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bengtsson has a takedown stuffed. Bengtsson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bengtsson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bengtsson scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ground and pound from Bengtsson. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Faulkner tries to get to full guard but Bengtsson has control of the leg. Faulkner looking for submissions off his back. Bengtsson lands with a punch from half guard. Faulkner keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bengtsson not doing much here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! It looks like Bengtsson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Bengtsson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Bengtsson looks to land a strike but Faulkner avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Faulkner being controlled here, momentarily.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bengt Bengtsson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Faulkner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bengtsson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Faulkner! Bengtsson taking a breather here. Faulkner wants to get back to his feet but Bengtsson drags him back down. Bengtsson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Faulkner down.
Bengtsson has knee on belly and moves into mount. This has been an exciting period of action! Bengtsson controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bengtsson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Faulkner scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Bengtsson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Bengtsson stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bengt Bengtsson! Bengt Bengtsson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
