Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Attack tries to score with a low kick but Kowalak moves his leg out of the way.
Attack looks for the body kick but Kowalak saw that one coming.
Attack shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kowalak eats them both and turns towards Attack to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A head kick misses from Attack.
Horrible takedown by Kowalak or perhaps it was just good defense by Attack which made him look bad.
Attack misses with a looping left.
Kowalak looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Attack fails to land with a series of punches.
Attack fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kowalak is out of range.
Attack is looking to land body kicks.
Kowalak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Attack as he jumps to the side.
Attack lands a nice hook to Kowalak's body. Kowalak takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Attack's coach down at Clean and Green was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Attack's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Horrible takedown by Kowalak or perhaps it was just good defense by Attack which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mat Kowalak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Attack connects with a single shot there.
Attack connects with an inside leg kick.
Attack connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Attack showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kowalak.
Attack is looking to chop away at Kowalak's legs.
Attack pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kowalak is out of range and Attack settles back down.
Kowalak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Kowalak in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Attack tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kowalak!
