Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pinkynho Romeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
28 - 39 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pinkynho Romeiro!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romeiro stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bob tries to bum rush Romeiro with a series of wild strikes but Romeiro uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bob looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bob is pressing down on Romeiro's thigh, looking to free his foot. Romeiro is holding on for now.
Bob stalling.
Bob is looking to advance position but Romeiro won't allow it.
Bob content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Romeiro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Billy Bob has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Bob bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bob tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bob has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bob in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Romeiro is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Billy Bob!
