Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reyes Olsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tymo Tymchynovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reyes Olsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tymo Tymchynovski!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olsen lands a slapping body shot.
Tymchynovski moves out of range of the body kick.
Olsen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Tymchynovski decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Olsen's guard.
Tymchynovski passes into half guard.
Olsen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Olsen.
Olsen has his hands on Tymchynovski's head, controlling the position.
Tymchynovski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Olsen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tymchynovski is looking to advance position but Olsen has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Tymchynovski is trying desperately to improve position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Olsen tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Olsen controlling his opponent.
Tymchynovski in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Olsen controlling from the full mount.
Tymchynovski tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Olsen is looking to stand but Olsen has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Olsen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Olsen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Olsen stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Olsen clinches up with Tymchynovski and pushes him back against the cage.
Olsen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Olsen is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tymchynovski is defending well.
Olsen is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Tymchynovski to keep the fight standing.
Tymchynovski drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Olsen gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Olsen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Tymchynovski regains guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tymchynovski wants to sweep but no luck.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Olsen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tymchynovski is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Olsen, into his guard.
Tymchynovski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Olsen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Olsen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tymchynovski defends it easily.
Olsen is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tymchynovski trying to move into half guard but instead Olsen has managed to sweep!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reyes Olsen dominated that round.
That's time! Olsen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Olsen clinches up against the cage.
Tymchynovski is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Olsen pulls him back up using the underhooks.
A short uppercut from Olsen.
Olsen tries to throw a body punch but Tymchynovski avoids it by throwing Olsen back against the cage.
Olsen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Olsen is pressed up against the cage. Tymchynovski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Olsen down to the mat. Olsen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Reyes Olsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tymchynovski takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Olsen closes the distance and pushes Tymchynovski back into the cage.
Olsen misses with some punches.
Olsen tries to pull guard but Tymchynovski won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Olsen goes for a takedown attempt but Tymchynovski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reyes Olsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Olsen closes the distance and clinches.
Olsen is trying to pull guard but Tymchynovski turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Olsen turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Olsen tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tymchynovski is being controlled here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tymchynovski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Olsen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Tymchynovski is not content to let Olsen control the position.
Olsen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Olsen is trying to get an arm triangle but Tymchynovski is defending well.
Olsen wants to stand but Tymchynovski has his arm trapped.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tymchynovski manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Reyes Olsen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tymchynovski is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Olsen sees it coming and defends easily.
Tymchynovski uses his free foot to push down on Olsen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Olsen.
Olsen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Tymchynovski takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Olsen rolls, trying to escape but Tymchynovski keeps control of the position.

Tymchynovski is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Olsen defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Olsen tries to break free.

Tymchynovski is persistently looking for the submission but Olsen is defending it well.
Olsen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tymchynovski on the ground.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Olsen tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tymo Tymchynovski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Olsen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tymchynovski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Olsen's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Olsen wants to stand and escape but instead Tymchynovski has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Tymchynovski drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Olsen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tymchynovski has Olsen in his guard.
Olsen's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Olsen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Olsen throws a head kick that misses.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Olsen tries a head kick but it misses.
Tymchynovski avoids the head kick by Olsen.
Olsen misses with the body kick

and Tymchynovski counters with a takedown into side control.
Olsen is trying to control Tymchynovski's posture but Tymchynovski avoids it.

Tymchynovski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Olsen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Olsen manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tymchynovski's best efforts.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tymchynovski moves into full mount! Olsen won't be happy about that!

Tymchynovski is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Olsen has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Olsen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Olsen can't escape the position.

Tymchynovski working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Olsen wants to control but Tymchynovski is having none of it.

Tymchynovski goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Olsen turns into him and now he's in Tymchynovski's guard.
Our spies down at at Cozad MMA Las Vegas inform us that Tymchynovski has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Olsen gets to his feet - Tymchynovski follows without any prompting.
Some wild striking there from Olsen.

Olsen closes the distance and clinches.
Olsen prevents the takedown attempt.
Tymchynovski dodges an elbow strike from Olsen.
Olsen tries to land knees in the clinch but Tymchynovski avoids the damage to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Olsen misses with a hook from the clinch.
Olsen wants a takedown.
Olsen misses with the head strike.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Reyes Olsen.
I think Olsen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
