Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Crillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Zietsch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crillo's entrance music is Wiz Khalifa - Black And Yellow. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Crillo!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marc Zietsch!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crillo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Zietsch.

Crillo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Crillo throws an elbow but Zietsch slips to the side and avoids it well.
Zietsch tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Crillo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Crillo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zietsch keeps working.

Crillo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Crillo trying to control the action but Zietsch is working from the bottom.
Zietsch has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Crillo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Crillo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Crillo lands a decent elbow from side control.

Crillo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zietsch keeps working.
Crillo scores with punches from side control.
Crillo fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Zietsch can't do much from the bottom here.
Crillo in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Crillo with the ground and pound but Zietsch regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Crillo with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Zietsch wants to improve his position but Crillo is controlling well.
Crillo is controlling the pace.
Crillo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crillo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Zietsch keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Crillo is looking to stall here but Zietsch recovers full guard.

Zietsch pulls Crillo in to control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zietsch's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Crillo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zietsch's head.
Crillo throwing strikes from guard but Zietsch blocks nicely.
Zietsch is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Zietsch is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Crillo landing with the ground and pound.
Zietsch looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Zietsch has his hands on Crillo's head, controlling the position.
Crillo wants to control from the top but Zietsch keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Crillo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Zietsch manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Crillo has Zietsch in his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Crillo dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Crillo looks for a takedown but Zietsch sprawls well.
Crillo dives in for a single leg takedown but Zietsch sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Crillo lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Zietsch controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Crillo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Zietsch knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Zietsch keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zietsch is looking for a sweep. Crillo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Crillo trying to pass the guard but Zietsch defending well.
Zietsch desperately trying to maintain half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Crillo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crillo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zietsch's head.
Crillo working Zietsch over with strikes.

Zietsch is controlling Crillo's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Zietsch wants to improve his position but Crillo is controlling well.
Crillo looks to land a strike but Zietsch avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Crillo content to stall in guard here.
Frank Crillo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Crillo trying to control but Zietsch is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Frank Crillo.
Crillo blocks a leg kick.
Zietsch throws a leg kick but Crillo moved away.
Crillo takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Zietsch throws a front kick that sends Crillo stumbling back into the cage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Crillo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Crillo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice uppercut there from Zietsch.
Crillo takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Crillo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Zietsch connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Crillo moves forwards but Zietsch connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crillo moves out of range of the body kick.
Marc Zietsch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zietsch fails with an attempt to clinch.
Zietsch uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Crillo.
Crillo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Zietsch with a nice cross.
Zietsch lands a head kick!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Crillo.
Nice sprawl there from Zietsch as Crillo shoots in.
Zietsch lands a glancing blow to the side of Crillo's head.


Crillo is rocked!
Zietsch lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice jab there from Zietsch.
Oh Crillo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zietsch walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Crillo drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Zietsch swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Crillo's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marc Zietsch!

Our winner, Marc Zietsch, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
