The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Maccarone blocks the low kick.
Hills looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Good work by Maccarone as he checks the leg kick.
Hills lands a nice shot that snaps Maccarone's head back.
Maccarone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hills misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Maccarone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hills.
Hills looks to land a combination but Maccarone avoids it well.
Maccarone throws a leg kick which misses Hills's front leg but catches the back leg as Hills tries to avoid it.
Hills throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Trey Hills seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A shot to the body from Hills misses
and Maccarone counters with a low kick, right behind Hills 's knee.
Maccarone paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Maccarone counters with a thumping low kick.

Hills throws a combination that misses
and Maccarone counters with a head kick that wobbles Hills - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Maccarone sends him down. This one is all over!

Charlie Maccarone opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
Trey Hills was interviewed post fight and said 'Don't fear failure. Not failure, but low aim, is the crime. In great attempts it is glorious even to fail. I will be back & will be better. '.
