Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stacy Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timothy Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stacy Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Timothy Jacobs! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacobs throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jacobs is looking to clinch. Jacobs tries to clinch there but Diaz circles away.
Jacobs closes the distance looking to clinch and Diaz counters with an outside leg kick.
Jacobs is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jacobs tries to clinch but fails miserably and Diaz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Diaz breaks the clinch.

Jacobs tries to sprawl but Diaz drives through with a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Jacobs wants to get back to his feet. Jacobs regains full guard. Nicely done. Jacobs not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Diaz scores with a decent looking elbow strike. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jacobs is on top in guard.
Diaz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Diaz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jacobs's guard. Jacobs punching from the bottom. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jacobs not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Diaz won't allow Jacobs to get back to his feet. Jacobs trying to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jacobs looking to control.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Timothy Jacobs hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Diaz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Diaz breaks from the clinch.
Jacobs closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Diaz did well to prevent Jacobs getting side control. Jacobs is keen to just control but Diaz is a slippery customer. Diaz pushes Jacobs off looking to stand but Jacobs dives back in and keeps control.
Diaz controlling the position well. Diaz works his way to full guard. Good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz pulls Jacobs in close to his closed guard and prevents Jacobs from doing any damage or advancing position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diaz is controlling Jacobs's posture. Jacobs stops Diaz from standing up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jacobs looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jacobs misses with the combination.
Diaz circles away from the clinch attempt and Diaz counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jacobs's guard now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stacy Diaz dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Diaz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jacobs, pushing him back against the cage. Diaz breaks the clinch.
Jacobs throws a series of punches but Diaz avoids them all with ease. Diaz looks to land a body kick but Jacobs moved away. Diaz gets a clinch. Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Diaz has managed to clinch.
Jacobs pulls guard. Jacobs will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Jacobs wants to hit a switch here but Diaz passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jacobs there! Jacobs is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs taking shots to the head. Jacobs is in a horrible position here. Diaz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jacobs keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jacobs wants to hold on but Diaz pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Diaz is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jacobs to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jacobs shrugs it off. Jacobs is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jacobs tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jacobs slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz prevents Jacobs from standing back up.
Diaz is thwarting Jacobs's attempts to control the position. Diaz working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Diaz throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jacobs to regain full guard. Jacobs wants to get back to his feet but Diaz is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jacobs controls Diaz momentarily but Diaz frees himself. Diaz connects with a couple of short punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz is looking to work some ground and pound but Jacobs has wrist control. Diaz distracts Jacobs with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Diaz's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Jacobs manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Diaz holds of for dear life. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stacy Diaz dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Jacobs shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Diaz's guard. Diaz controlling Jacobs's posture. Diaz working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jacobs. Jacobs trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom. Diaz is pulling down on Jacobs's head to control his posture.

Jacobs thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Diaz's head. Diaz taking some punishment here, with Jacobs in his half guard. Diaz is looking to escape. Diaz is controlling Jacobs's trapped leg to prevent Jacobs from advancing to side control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Diaz is not content to let Jacobs control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Stacy Diaz wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jacobs closes the distance but Diaz moves to the side and Diaz counters by moving into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacobs wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Diaz tries a knee to the head but Jacobs blocks it.
Diaz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diaz is trying to get back to full guard. Diaz is concentrating on defense, preventing Jacobs from advancing position. Diaz moves into full guard.
Stacy Diaz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Diaz looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz wants to stand up but Jacobs is controlling him. Diaz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jacobs! Jacobs keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Diaz lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Diaz fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jacobs tries to get back to half guard but can't. Timothy Jacobs has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stacy Diaz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stacy Diaz. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diaz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
