The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Astoria.
Astoria keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bamshoot.
Bamshoot tries to move into range but Astoria moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Astoria just misses with a punch to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Astoria.
No joy there for Astoria, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Astoria throws a quick inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bamshoot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bamshoot takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bamshoot looks gassed!
Astoria scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Astoria explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Astoria scores with a nice right hand.
Astoria throws a sloppy head kick and Bamshoot moves out of range easily.
Astoria getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Astoria fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bamshoot.
Astoria lands a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circle, before Astoria throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Bamshoot's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Astoria lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
