Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Savas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Rubber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savas comes into the arena with Seven Nation Army blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damian Savas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oliver Rubber!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savas moves in looking to clinch but Rubber pushes him off.
A chopping leg kick lands by Savas.
Rubber drives through with a takedown into guard.
Savas pushes Rubber off and gets back to his feet.
Rubber throws a head kick but Savas moves out of range.
Savas misses with a double jab.
Rubber misses with a head kick.
Savas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes there by Savas.
Savas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rubber on the ground.
Rubber manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Rubber is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Savas pulls his head out easily.
Rubber wants to control but Savas is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rubber tries to roll over but Savas keeps him under control.
Rubber looking for submissions off his back.
Rubber looks gassed!
Savas with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rubber tries to get to full guard but Savas has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are battling for position here. Rubber manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Savas wants to stand but Rubber is controlling his posture from full guard.
Savas pushing down on Rubber's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Rubber keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Rubber is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Savas jumps into side control!
Rubber is looking for a sweep.
Rubber is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Savas working away.
Savas decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Savas lands with a kick to the temple. Rubber shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Rubber tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Savas feints and as Rubber raises his hands in defense, Savas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Savas wants to pass the guard but Rubber is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Savas is posturing up here but Rubber has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Savas tries to roll out but it's too tight and Savas has to tap! Slick submission there by Rubber!
