Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Penn Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Luff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luff fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Liddell manages to avoid it.

Luff shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Liddell manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Luff lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Luff looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Liddell with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Liddell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Luff defends well and Liddell ends up having to push Luff into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Liddell throws a hook but Luff avoids it easily.
Luff does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Liddell lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Luff backs up against the cage.
Luff goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Penn Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liddell throws a combination. Luff tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Liddell checks a leg kick.
Penn Liddell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Luff instigates a clinch.

Brandon Luff comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Luff winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
