Ceuref comes to the cage accompanied by French Fighter. Tony Hendricks is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hendricks is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

I was talking to Ceuref's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Ceuref bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hendricks's head backwards.

Hendricks tries to clinch up but Ceuref circles away and keeps his distance.

Hendricks shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ceuref manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hendricks is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hendricks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hendricks connects with a nice short shot to Ceuref's temple.
