Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Luca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Morozov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morozov has chosen Gucci Mane – Threw With That Shit as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morozov shoots in for a double leg but Luca sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Morozov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morozov gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Morozov misses with a series of wild punches.
Morozov walks into a stiff left hand from Luca.
Morozov loads up on a big right hand but Luca slips the punch.
Morozov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Luca tries to clinch up but Morozov circles away and keeps his distance.
A slapping leg kick lands for Luca.
Morozov shoots in for a takedown but Luca shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Luca lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Luca stuns Morozov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Morozov on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Luca gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Morozov throws a series of punches but Luca moves out of range.
Luca swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Luca gets caught flat footed, as Morozov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Luca tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morozov postures up in Luca's guard and throws a big left but Luca blocks it.
My spies in CW's Elite Kung-Fu Academy inform me that Morozov has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Luca is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Luca bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Morozov's head.
Luca tries a head kick but it misses.
Luca throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Luca bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Morozov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Luca circles away quickly and effectively.
Luca lands a really nice looking cross but Morozov seems unphased.

Morozov takes a kick to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morozov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A combination from Morozov does no damage.
Morozov tries to bum rush Luca with a series of wild strikes but Luca uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Luca digs a good body shot into Morozov's ribs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Morozov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Luca's guard.

Morozov throws an overhand right that lands on Luca's shoulder, as Luca tries to avoid the shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Luca circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Morozov to the canvas! Morozov doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Luca keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
