Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks comes to the cage accompanied by I'm A Soldier. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joseph Brooks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan Gable! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brooks throws a one two combo.
Brooks cracks Gable with an open hand slap. Brooks throws a series of punches but Gable avoids them all with ease. Gable swats away the attempt to clinch by Brooks. Brooks tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gable dodges the punch combination from Brooks.
Brooks keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Brooks looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Gable scores with a takedown into Brooks's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Gable showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Gable is in close to Brooks's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gable trying to control but Brooks is working from the bottom. Gable looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Brooks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Brooks is trying to control the position but Gable postures up. Gable seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Gable working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Gable loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gable distracts Brooks with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gable content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Gable's corner is telling him to maintain position. Brooks might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gable missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gable throwing strikes from guard but Brooks blocks nicely. Gable is working Brooks over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Brooks keeping moving, preventing Gable from controlling successfully. Gable with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gable sitting in guard here, content to control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gable's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gable in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Brooks is breathing heavily. Gable is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Brooks looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gable not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Gable with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Gable is working Brooks over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gable accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gable postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Gable working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Gable throws a big right hand that misses. Gable landing some decent shots from guard. Gable postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gable slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Gable in side control lands a decent elbow. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gable scores with a couple of short elbows. Gable looks up at the clock and then as Brooks takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gable smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Gable dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gable shoots in looking for a takedown. Brooks tries to sprawl out of it but Gable keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brooks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A head kick misses from Brooks. Gable blocks the body kick.
Gable drives through with a takedown into guard. Gable slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gable content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Gable scoring with some ground and pound. Gable keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brooks's head. Gable with a nice head shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gable with a flurry of punches that miss. Gable postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gable working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Gable advances position into side control! Gable connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Brooks some visible discomfort.
Gable trying to control the action but Brooks is working from the bottom. Gable in side control lands a decent elbow. Gable lands some shots froms side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gable wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brooks keeps working. Brooks taking a bit of punishment here - Gable scoring with strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gable in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Gable cracks Brooks with a big elbow. Gable grinds an elbow into Brooks's temple. Gable working the head and body with strikes. Brooks is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gable asserts his dominance and retains side control. Gable is working Brooks over with some ground and pound from side control.
Brooks is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gable looks up at the clock and then as Brooks takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gable smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Oh Brooks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Gable cracks Brooks with an elbow. That is naaassty. Gable cracks Brooks with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Gable immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Brooks is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Gable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Gable!
