Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks comes to the cage accompanied by I'm A Soldier. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks throws a one two combo.
Brooks cracks Gable with an open hand slap.
Brooks throws a series of punches but Gable avoids them all with ease.
Gable swats away the attempt to clinch by Brooks.
Brooks tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gable dodges the punch combination from Brooks.
Brooks keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Brooks looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gable scores with a takedown into Brooks's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gable accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Gable dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gable shoots in looking for a takedown. Brooks tries to sprawl out of it but Gable keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brooks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A head kick misses from Brooks.

Gable slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
