Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vit Tu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ugor Makinwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tu comes to the cage accompanied by Blanket on the ground. Vit Tu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ugor Makinwa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vit Tu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ugor Makinwa! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makinwa thows a body shot but no joy. We've been informed that Makinwa has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Tu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tu misses with a takedown attempt - Makinwa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Makinwa lands a nice hook to Tu's body. Tu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A solid leg kick lands there for Makinwa.
Makinwa lands with an overhand left. This has been an exciting period of action! Makinwa lands a nice shot that snaps Tu's head back.
It looks like Vit Tu has been cut. Makinwa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tu. Tu walks into a left hand. Makinwa slips under a jab from Tu. Tu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Makinwa swings for the body but Tu moves out of range.
Tu looks to land a left hand but Makinwa moved out of range nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tu misses with a left hand and Makinwa counters with an inside leg kick. Tu missing with a left hand there. Makinwa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Makinwa cracks Tu with a good jab. Tu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Tu is looking to pass into half guard but Makinwa pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Makinwa is in guard. Makinwa content to stall in guard here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Makinwa looking to pass the guard. Tu wants to sweep here but Makinwa controlling him for the moment. Makinwa looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Makinwa trying to control the position from guard on top but Tu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ugor Makinwa hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Tu cracks Makinwa with a good jab. Makinwa staying out of range there. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tu is defended easily by Makinwa. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vit Tu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tu misses the jab. Tu throws a right and a left that both miss. Tu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tu lands a head shot. Decent striking displayed by Tu there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tu waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Makinwa. Makinwa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tu's sensitive parts. Tu takes a swing at Makinwa's ribcage but misses. Tu drops his hands momentarily and Makinwa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Tu looks to throw the jab but Makinwa is out of range. Tu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Makinwa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tu somewhat. Makinwa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Tu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tu circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Makinwa steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tu. Makinwa takes a body punch but keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tu throws a big shot that misses. Tu shoots in and drives through. Makinwa sprawls well. Makinwa slips a straight right by Tu. Tu blocks the body kick.
Makinwa scores with a sloppy right hand. Tu should have avoided that one. Tu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tu has his takedown stuffed and Makinwa counters with a lovely shot to the body. Tu is breathing heavily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Makinwa is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Tu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Makinwa. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ugor Makinwa dominated that round. The cut man is working on Vit Tu's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Tu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Makinwa cracks the inside of Tu's front leg. Tu misses with an uppercut. Tu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A looping hook to the body misses from Makinwa. Tu does a little dance to reset his feet. Makinwa leaves Tu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Makinwa walks into a left hand. Makinwa waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tu. Tu is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Makinwa misses the shot to the body. The fighters circling - Tu throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Tu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Makinwa avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Tu goes for a double leg but Makinwa avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Makinwa continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vit Tu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Makinwa content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Tu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Makinwa smiles and moves away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Makinwa.
Makinwa connects with an inside leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A nice inside leg kick there by Makinwa. That's going to slow Tu down. Tu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Makinwa on the side of the head. Ugor Makinwa seems to be getting the better of the standup. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Makinwa scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Ugor Makinwa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Makinwa thumps Tu with a low kick. Makinwa lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Good leg kick by Makinwa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Tu chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Makinwa can pounce on him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Makinwa looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Makinwa connects with a superb combination that knocks Tu out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Makinwa before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Tu!
