Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Hater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machene Rehel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rehel has chosen No more sorrow as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maximus Hater! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Machene Rehel! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rehel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rehel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hater throws a series of punches but Rehel moves out of range. Rehel blocks a head kick by Hater.
Rehel drives through with a takedown into guard. Rehel sitting in guard here, content to control. Hater has his foot on Rehel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rehel works his way back into a safe position though. Hater wants to sweep here but Rehel controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rehel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rehel won't allow Hater to sweep him here. Rehel passes Hater's left leg - he's now in half guard. Rehel is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hater tries to roll over but Rehel keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rehel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Hater tries to get to full guard but Rehel has control of the leg. Well, if Rehel is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Rehel wants to control but Hater is keeping him busy. Hater looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rehel prevents Hater from improving his position. Hater is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rehel sitting and controlling from the half guard. Rehel is working for a kimura but Hater is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rehel works his foot free and advances to mount. Rehel content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rehel lands a nice shot to the head. Rehel unloading with bombs! Rehel wants to control the pace but Hater is squirming around nicely. Rehel cracks Hater with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rehel seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Rehel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hater thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hater wants to pass the guard but Rehel is keeping the position. Rehel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hater manages to get himself to full guard.
Rehel is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Machene Rehel dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rehel is looking to control Hater but Hater is wriggling around and keeping busy. Hater tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Rehel lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hater hang on? Rehel lands a big elbow. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hater is looking to improve his position but Rehel isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hater flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Hater is working hard here to advance position. Rehel looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Hater throws a strike from the bottom but Rehel uses the opportunity to take his back. Rehel really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Hater.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rehel keeps control of the position as Hater tries to break free.
Rehel lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Rehel.
Hater is trying to get back to his feet but Rehel has full control of the position and if anything, Hater has just worked his way into a worse spot. Hater trying to control the action but Rehel just sinks the hooks in. Rehel controlling from the back. Rehel lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rehel loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Hater hold on?

Despite being in the dominant position, Machene Rehel just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hater throws a head kick but Rehel moves out of range.
Hater gets caught flat footed, as Rehel shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rehel stays in close to Hater's body and controls the position. Hater has momentary wrist control but Rehel slips an elbow through the middle. Hater looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rehel controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Rehel is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Rehel working some strikes from top position. Hater not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rehel makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Rehel slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Machene Rehel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Rehel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rehel lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hater down.
Rehel is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hater's shoulder. That is not cool. Hater is looking to reverse the position. Hater wants to control but Rehel postures up. Hater tries to improve position but can't. Hater is trying to work for a sweep but Rehel has mounted him! Rehel content just to control the position here. Hater is looking to get to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rehel content just to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hater is trying desperately to improve position. Rehel tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rehel showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Rehel postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rehel avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rehel misses with a wild combination.
Hater gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hater working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rehel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rehel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

And that's the end of the fight! Machene Rehel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rehel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
