Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter closes the distance and pushes West back into the cage.
Walter ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Walter no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Walter pushes West off and gets back to his feet.
Steven Walter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
West paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
West lands a nice leg kick that just misses Walter's sensitive parts.
Walter closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Walter has West up against the cage in a clinch.
West's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
West on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
West tries to land a knee to the head but Walter blocks with his arms.
Walter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but West has him pressed against the cage.
Walter works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with West but West pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

West fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Walter has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Walter on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
